PURPOSE: To detect a rough set condition without separating an eye from a region to be treated by adjusting the output quantity of the laser beam from a laser beam source or the irradiation time of laser beam corresponding to a set condition and informing the set condition by flashing collimation beam.
CONSTITUTION: An operator sets the output of laser beam and an irradiation time being a set condition for medical treatment to a control panel 3. A control part 2 issues an order to a flashing apparatus 5 according to the output of the set laser beam among them to flash collimation beam at the flashing speed corresponding to the output of the set laser beam. A shutter 10 is retracted at the time of medical treatment and the laser beam 13 of a laser beam source 1 is guided to the affected region 11 for a set irradiation time through a dichroic mirror 7, a condensing lens 8 and an optical fiber 9. At the same time, the flashed collimation beam 12 is reflected by the dichroic mirror 7 to be guided to the affected region 11 through the condensing lens 8 and the optical fiber 9. Therefore, when the operator confirms the flashing collimation beam guided to the affected region 11, he can see the rough output of the set laser beam without shifting his eye from the affected region 11.
