Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the laser cladding method which does not generate defects, such as blowholes, improves the uniformity of structures, does not require an intricate table device and grooving of a coating part and is high in the stability of the device.
CONSTITUTION: While the prescribed position on a base material is irradiated with a laser beam R having a doughnut-shaped irradiation mode formed by rotating a spot laser beam 20, alloy powder for cladding is supplied toward the inside of the doughnut-shaped irradiation range of the laser beam 20. On the other hand, the base material and the laser beam having the doughnut- shaped irradiation mode are relatively moved.
