PURPOSE: To obtain a laser device capable of producing stable laser output even in high speed repetitive frequency by providing a plurality of storage means for storing exciting current and charging means for charging the current and sequentially operating them.
CONSTITUTION: A discharge tube 4' for exciting a laser element 2' having a laser output side reflecting mirror 1' and a laser fully reflecting mirror 3' at both ends is arranged at the laser element 2', and a discharge tube 4' is triggered with a trigger wire 5' and a trigger circuit 6'. A choke coil 7' for suppressing a peak current is connected to the tube 4' , and the tube 4' is controlled by a control circuit 20.In this structure, 3 capacitors 11∼13 for storing the exciting currents and 3 charging circuits 14∼16 for charging the capacitors are provided, 3 thyristors 17∼ 19 are controlled with the circuit 20, and the capacitors 11∼13 are alternately discharged. In this manner the charging voltage of the capacitors is stabilized to increase the lifetime of the laser device.
