Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a laser Doppler speedometer of which the accurary degradation and failure of measurement by measurement distance change between a moving body and an optical system are well avoided.
CONSTITUTION: A laser beam from a laser B2b, different in wave length from laser A2a, is totally passed through a cold mirror 12a. Part of a laser beam from the laser A2a is totally reflected by the cold mirror 12a, and multiplexed with the beam passing through the mirror 12a. The multiplexed laser beam is projected to a moving body 1 via mirrors 11c and 11d. The laser beam scattered by the moving body 1, including the respective components of wavelength of the lasers A2a and B2b, is condensed through lenses 13a and 13b. Of the condensed beam, the component originating from the laser B2b passes through the cold mirror 12b and forms an image on a light receiving surface of a position detector 14, and, on the other hand, the component from the laser A2a is reflected by the cold mirror 12b and led to a light detector 7.
