Optical signal processing parts 103 to 105 output laser beams having wave lengths different from each other to a corner cube 100 attached to the measuring object via a common light passage A and respectively detect laser beams reflected by the corner cube 100. A controlling part 102 controls motors 110, 111 so that the laser beams return to predetermined positions of a light position detection element 117 of the optical signal processing part 103 and thus controls direction of a reflection mirror 112 to make the laser beams to follow the object to be tracked. The controlling part 102 makes the laser beams output from the optical signal processing parts 104, 105 to follow the object to be tracked and calculates a distance to the measuring object, a form, a position, a speed and the like of the measuring object based on the signals detected by the optical signal processing parts 104, 105.
