Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed laser processing method for a fiber reinforced composite material which optimizes laser irradiation precisely to obtain high-speed and high-quality processing properties when processing, such as cutting, perforation, or trimming, is performed by a high output power laser, and to provide a high-speed laser processing apparatus for the fiber reinforced composite material.SOLUTION: In a high-speed laser processing method for a fiber reinforced composite material, a high output power laser beam oscillated from a laser oscillator is transmitted to irradiate it to a part to be processed of a fiber reinforced composite material member and process the part. The method comprises: a first step of irradiating the high output power laser beam at a high sweep rate to a plurality of paths in the form of multiplet lines having constant intervals therebetween about a processing line of design on the part to be processed; and a second step of reducing a degree of multiplet line when processing depth increases sequentially in accordance with the progress of the first step. A timing of shifting from the first step to the second step is set based on the processing depth in a high-speed processing area with the degree of multiplet line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
