Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent surely the danger of exposure to a laser beam by providing a connector between a recorder body and a box body where a laser optical system is stored and disconnecting the connector at stop laser oscillation when the box body is moved.
CONSTITUTION: A box body 14 where the laser optical system is stored is provided movably in the horizontal direction. A connector 18 consisting of a receptacle 18a and a plug 18b is arranged between the box body 14 and a recorder body 13. In this constitution, the connector 18 is disconnected to stop laser oscillation if the box body 14 is moved in the direction of an arrow when jam occurs or a toner is replenished. Thus, a user is prevented surely from being exposed to the laser beam.
