Title:
LASER TREATMENT DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3921306
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce damage done to a tissue other than a part for the purpose of a treatment, and to realize an efficient treatment by detecting a position of a specific treating part in an irradiation range of a treating laser beam by a detecting means, and selectively irradiating the treating laser beam to the detected treating part.
SOLUTION: In a laser hair removing treatment, a laser beam having a wave length easily absorbed in melanin is irradiated to the skin, and the roots of hair is cauterized by radiating heat energy absorbed in the melanin to hair root parts to remove hair. The melanin is distributed along a skin surface, the roots of hair and pores of the skin, with the distribution density fairly high in the hair root parts, so that absorbing energy quantity increases. Then, a low output laser beam is previously irradiated to a prescribed area of the skin surface being a laser beam irradiating range 30, and an image of the temperature distribution at that time is picked up by a thermograph. Positions of pores A to D of the skin are specified by discriminating a high temperature part on the basis of this image, and hair is removed by irradiating a treating laser beam accordingly to the positional information.
