In the laser welding head, the position in the first direction of the tip end chip 9 is adjusted by using the first screw member 32 of a position adjusting mechanism 31 to fix the position of the first direction. Then, the position in the second direction of the tip end chip 9 is adjusted by using the second screw member 35 to fix the position of the second direction. Thus the converging point of the first and the second laser beams 3a, 3b is made to coincide with the feeding position of the wire 8. This coincidence is attained even in the presence of a curl or the like of the wire 8.
