Abstract:
PURPOSE: To adequately perform laser welding on the place where supply is difficult with a filler metal wire by compositely integrating the filler metal on a surface through a composite extrusion, performing hot rolling for it and forming a plate material with a filler metal layer on the surface
CONSTITUTION: A hollow billet 2b of the filler metal and a solid billet 2a of an aluminum alloy are combined, and a composite extrusion material 3 is extruded. It is then hot rolled and made into an aluminum plate 1 having the filler metal layer 1b on the surface. When this plate 1 is laser welded, having the filler metal 1b on the surface of the aluminum 1a, the welding is performed without the filler metal wire.
