To provide a polybutylene terephthalate (PBT)-based resin composition excellent in alkali resistance and laser weldability.

The resin composition for laser welding comprises 100 pts.wt. PBT-based resin, 1-20 pts.wt. polyolefin-modified polysiloxane, 5-50 pts.wt. polyethylene terephthalate-based resin and 10-40 pts.wt. styrene-based component-containing elastomer. The polyolefin-modified polysiloxane may be constituted of a polyorganosiloxane and an olefin-based resin grafted to the polyorganosiloxane. The elastomer may be a styrene-based elastomer, an olefin-based elastomer containing the styrene-based component or the like. The resin composition may contain a filler or a reinforcing material.
