Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lateral sliding shutter for a garage capable of realizing light and smooth curved travelling of a unit panel even on a corner part and preventing slipping out of the unit panel outside on the corner part.
SOLUTION: Unit panels 2 are connected to each other free to revolve, an upper guide roller 6 to be guided by an upper rail 5 is provided on an upper end part, and a lower travelling roller 8 travelling along a lower travelling rail 7 is provided on a lower end part. The unit panels 2 are connected to each other by a hinge 3 so that an axis 4 of revolution of the hinge 3 is arranged on the back surface side. The axis 4 of revolution of the hinge 3 is extended downward, the lower travelling roller 8 is provided on a lower end of this axis 4 of revolution free to rotate around the axis of revolution as its center, and it is arranged so that an upper end of the lower traveling roller 8 is arranged above a lower end of the unit panel 2. Dimensions between a back surface of the unit panel 2 and the axis 4 of revolution are formed so as to be larger than a rotating radius of the traveling roller 8 around the axis 4 of revolution as its center.
