Abstract:
To provide a lateral structure of a vehicle making it possible to attain both the riding and alighting efficiency of an occupant on a rear seat and the rigidity against travel wind under the floor of a deflector in structure securing the deflector in a high-rank vehicle.SOLUTION: A lateral structure of a vehicle includes a side sill 3 extending in a vehicular fore-and-aft direction outside a lower part in a vehicle width direction of a vehicle body, an outside plate panel 20 covering a vehicular outside of the side sill 3, an attachment member 30 located at a predetermined position on the outside plate panel 20 opposed to a rear wheel 12, and a deflector 50 which is fixed to the attachment member 30 and an area outside in a vehicle width direction of an outside end in the vehicle width direction of the side sill 3 of which overlaps the rear wheel 12 when seen from the front of the vehicle. The attachment member 30 includes a closed section part S1 that is located below a rear seat surface 9a and extends in a vertical direction in collaboration with the outside plate panel 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
