Title:
LATERAL SUPPORT FOR DOWNWARDLY MANEUVERING ARM OF TRACTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3561220
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the shortest possible lateral supports without affecting the position of each piston in a cylinder housing with a spring.
SOLUTION: The lateral supports (5) are used for downwardly maneuvering arms (1 and 1') of a tractor. Each of the lateral supports (5) comprises a single- acting hydraulic cylinder equipped with the piston (16) composed of a hollow cylinder 17 provided with the cylinder housing (9) and a base (18). A setting element (20) for the rod shape can be regulated from an inserting position to a drawing out position against the force of the spring in the hollow cylinder (17). Since the piston (16) and the setting element (20) are moved in the same direction, a freely stretchable design leading to a short mounting length resultantly successively causing a more favorable connecting length can be achieved.
