To provide a lathe for ceramic art driven by a DD motor, solving the problems that there is manual and electromotive lathes as a lathe for ceramic art for pleasure and a ring cone system and a pulley system are mainly used in the electromotive lathe but necessity for rotating a turntable at an extremely low speed is generated in case of fine molding work, that the noise and mechanical vibration of a motor is large in a speed regulation method in the conventional electromotive lathe, that the rotation of the lathe is stopped when the rotary speed of the turntable is low that it is difficult to perform complicated molding work and satisfying the demand for a motor rotatable at a low speed and with low noise.

A multipolar and coil inside system is employed in place of the ring cone system and the pulley system and the turntable is directly connected to a motor and start and stop are set to one second or less and noise is set to 10 db.
