Abstract:
To provide a lathe which can improve stability of a cutoff tool for a lathe.
The lathe of the present invention comprises a pedestal, a work table mounted on the pedestal, a feeding device with a cutoff tool for the lathe, and two horizontal beams movably installed on the pedestal and located above the work table. The feeding device is slidably mounted to the two horizontal beams and located therebetween, and both sides of the feeding device are supported by the two horizontal beams. Thereby, the lathe of the present invention can reduce shake or vibration caused by the motion of the feeding device and the cutoff tool for the lathe, so that machining accuracy is improved and the service life of the cutoff tool for the lathe is extended.
