PURPOSE: To make it possible to effectively utilize laundry apparatus by making an end report by telephone to urge the quitting of the laundry apparatus and to announce the vacant state of the laundry apparatus in response with an inquiry from a user by the telephone.

CONSTITUTION: A laundry monitor device 2 is provided with a laundry monitor table 26a storing the 'apparatus IDs', 'use conditions' and 'user TEL Nos.' of the respective laundry apparatus 1 to be monitored. A CPU 27 reads the apparatus ID from the end signal delivered by the laundry apparatus and reads the 'user TEL No.' corresponding to the apparatus ID of the end data from the laundry monitor table 26a. An input/output section 23 utters the voice of the 'user TEL No.' and outputs voice data of the end report when the CPU outputs the data to the input/output section 23.
