PURPOSE: To improve workability of both of washing operation and face washing operation with a laundry unit which improves the efficiency of the washing and facing operations and improves operability in the space of a face washing and dressing room in home.

CONSTITUTION: This laundry unit has a cabinet 14 which is designed to allow the installation of a clothes drying machine or a housing section having a door 19 on the front surface in the upper part of a washing machine 1 and a housing and working table 20 which is provided with a drain trap 5 of the washing machine 1 in the lower part, is provided with a housing section 20h for detergents, etc., in the upper part and is formed with a top surface as a working table. This housing and working table 20 is installed between a lavatory vanity table 7 composed of a washing bowl 8, a faucet 9, a mirror 12, illumination 13, etc., and the cabinet 14.
