Abstract:
To allow the remaining amount of multilayer film to be accurately determined even if the rotation speed of the output gear is made different according to the width of the multilayer film.SOLUTION: The layer transfer device includes: a first film cartridge equipped with wide multilayer film, and a second film cartridge equipped with narrow multilayer film, the films being detachable; a gear mechanism capable of being engaged with output gears of the film cartridges; and a controlling part. The respective output gears of the respective film cartridges rotate at different speeds when the winding reel is rotated at a predetermined speed. When it is determined that the first film cartridge is attached, the controlling part determines the remaining amount of the multilayer film is small if the rotation speed V exceeds the first threshold Vth1, and when it is determined that the second film cartridge is attached (S2:No), the controlling part determines that the remaining amount of the multilayer film is small if the rotation speed V exceeds the second threshold Vth2 that is smaller than the first threshold Vth1 (S4 to S6, S8, S9).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
