Abstract:
To provide a novel organic matter-containing layered silicic acid compound and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: Used is an organic matter-containing layered silicic acid compound obtained by intercalating an organic amine between crystal layers of a layered silicic acid compound in which Hions are adsorbed between the crystal layers with the distance between the crystal layers being 1.5 times or more the molecular length of the organic amine. As a layered silicate compound, ilerite, magadiite, kanemite, macatite, kenyaite, acidic clay, activated clay or the like is used. As an organic amine, a primary or secondary amine having 4 to 30 carbon atoms, such as octadecylamine and hexadecylamine, is used as an interlayer intercalating agent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
