This LCD fixing structure for storing an LCD panel 4 in a holder 3 which is rectangular and has a bottom is constituted in such a manner that the height of surrounding wall surfaces of the holder 3 is approximately uniform with the height of the LCD panel 4, at least one of the wall surfaces is provided with a panel pressing part 3A which has the height on the same order or lower compared with the wall surface, the panel pressing part 3A is abutted on the side surface 4L of the LCD panel 4 and presses the LCD panel 4 in the direction of the inner wall surface (3Nx or 6Nx) of holder side which is confronted with the panel pressing part 3A and, thereby, the inner wall surface (3Nx or 6Nx) of holder side and the side surface 4N of the LCD panel are matched in a plane and positioned.
