Abstract:
PURPOSE: To allow plural viewers to simultaneously view a bright picture on a screen with polarizing spectacles by displaying a present left side video signal in a left side video system and displaying a just previously displayed right side video signal in a right side video system simultaneously from two light sources. CONSTITUTION: A left side optical system 4 and a driving system 33 constitute a left side video system, and a right side optical system 5 and a driving system 34 constitute a right side video system. Then, a present left side video signal is displayed at the left side video systems 4 and 33, and a just previously displayed right side video signal is displayed at the right side video systems 5 and 34 simultaneously from two light sources 17 and 18 so that a stereoscopic image is made bright. Thus, the stereoscopic image is simultaneously viewed by plural viewers as a clear picture with polarization spectacles 21 and 22.
