Abstract:
To provide a long-life lead battery controlling a local corrosion of a grill and for preventing both damage to the grating body and capacity reduction.
A positive electrode grill consisting of an alloy of lead, calcium, and tin contains indium. The alloy preferably contains 0.01 to 0.1 wt.% of calcium, 1.0 to 2.5 wt.% of tin, and a 0.01 to 0.5 wt.% of indium.
