Abstract:
The present invention relates to a lead tab and a pouch type battery including the same. The lead tab according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a metal and a film disposed on at least one surface of the metal, in which the metal includes a first metal layer, a second metal layer disposed on the first metal layer, a third metal layer disposed on the second metal layer, and an organic layer disposed on the third metal layer; and at least a portion of the third metal layer is plated on the second metal layer by electroless plating. Accordingly, an adhesive strength of the film on the metal may be improved, and corrosion resistance to the electrode in the pouch type battery may be improved.
