Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce zinc oxide powder hardly causing a increase of viscosity, etc., and excellent in resistance to reaction even under coexistence of higher aliphat. acid, etc., without impairing characteristics such as UV shielding capability, spreading property and sticking property inherent in the zink oxide powder.
CONSTITUTION: In this powder, 0.1-3wt.% methylhydrogenpolysiloxane or dimethylpolysiloxane per this powder is applied on the surface of this powder having 0.8-70μm average grain size, 0.1-3μm average thickness and an aspect ratio of 3-100.
