Abstract:
To provide a repair method and a repair jig for cutting off water while continuing an operation of fluid piping while securing workability even if there are irregularities on a surface of the piping due to rust or the like, related to the repair method and the repair jig for a leak point of the fluid piping or a liquid storage tank.SOLUTION: In a repair jig for fluid piping to repair a leak point of fluid piping 17 or a liquid storage tank by sealing the leak point, the repair jig has: an abutment member 15 that has a plate-shaped piece having a curvature radius conforming to an outside diameter of the piping 17 or the tank at an inner face, the plate-shaped piece provided with a penetration hole penetrating in the plate thickness direction, wherein the outer face of the plate-shaped piece has a short pipe communicating with the penetration hole and joined to an open end, and an expansible non-woven cloth is bonded to part of the inner face of the plate-shaped piece having the curvature radius conforming to the outside diameter of the fluid piping 17 or the liquid storage tank, excluding the penetration hole; a flow-out part 16 for making a leak fluid flow out to the open end of the short pipe of the abutment member 15; and a fastening member for fixing one end of the abutment member 15 and the fluid piping 17 or the liquid storage tank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
