Abstract:
To provide a leakage waveguide structure having an elliptical horizontal cross section shape effective to communicate with an antenna.
In this leakage waveguide structure in which the wavelength of the radio wave to be transmitted inside a leaky-waveguide 1 is set to 51.7 mm and a horizontal cross section shape that is used while the antenna is made to correspond to the tube axis of the waveguide 1 at the angle of 135° is elliptical, an average major axis inner diameter A and an average minor axis inner diameter B are set so as to satisfy 62 mm≤1.7 A (B/A)-0.052≤120 mm in the case the average major axis inner diameter of the ellipse is defined as A and the average minor axis inner diameter is defined as B.
