Title:
LEAKED WATER DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3144971
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To specify a duct network including points where water leaks by providing a flowmeter for measuring the amount of daily minimum flow corresponding to a plurality of duct network and then judging water leakage based on the amount of measured daily minimum flow.
CONSTITUTION: A flowmeter 2 corresponding to each of a plurality of duct network measures the amount of daily minimum flow and a measurement signal S1 is input to a data processor 3. The processor 3 stores the flow rate data in a storage circuit. The daily minimum flow rate graph of a set period is created based on a period setting for detecting leaked water from the flow rate data. A first-order function graph can be created using the least square method by an approximation graph creation circuit based on the graph. In a first-order expression y=ax+b appearing in the graph, it is judged whether the value of the difference of the flow rate exceeds a reference value according to the value of an inclination (a) to judge the presence or absence of water leakage. Therefore, a duct network where water leaks can be specified, thus reducing the time and expense required for water leakage investigation.
