Abstract:

To obtain a new lectin exhibiting a sugar chain specificity different from that of a conventional lectin and to provide its use.

The adsorbent or binder of an N-binding type one-three side chain sugar chains comprises (d) a lectin composed of an amino acid sequence of sequence number 3, (e) a lectin composed of a partial amino acid sequence of sequence number 3 and having binding activity at an N-binding type one-three side chain sugar chains and (f) a lectin composed of an amino acid sequence of sequence number 3 or an amino acid sequence in which one to several amino acids are added, deleted or substituted in its partial amino acid sequence and having binding activity at an N-binding type one-three side chain sugar chains.
