To provide a lecture attendance registration system which, without carrying out complicated information processing, can register attendance to a lecture and can properly determine whether or not an application is an a proxy attendance application to effectively prevent proxy attendance.SOLUTION: The present invention is directed to a lecture attendance registration system having a participant portable terminal, and a management server connected to the portable terminal so as to be able to communicate therewith. The portable terminal photographs a two-dimensional code displayed in a lecture room and including lecture identification information, extracts the lecture identification information from the photographed two-dimensional code, receives input of proxy answer preventing information guided in a lecture time, and transmits, to the management server, attendance application information including the lecture identification information extracted from the two-dimensional code and identification information of the participant and the proxy answer preventing information. The management server registers attendance of the participant to the lecture based on the attendance application information and the proxy answer preventing information received from the portable terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
