Title:
LED ARRAY HEAD ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC RECORDING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04343375
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance a light transmission efficiency and to inexpensively obtain clear image quality by making it possible to eliminate a self-focus lens array(SLA) in an LED(light emitting diode) array head electrophotographic recording device using an LED array.

CONSTITUTION: As to a device for forming a latent image on a photosensitive body 40 by emitting light from the LED array 1A and then, obtaining a visible image after developing the latent image, the LED array 1A is constituted of a PN junction type semiconductor (2-7) for emitting the light and an opaque layer 8 which is laminated on the light emitting surface of the semiconductor so as to cover the surface with it and having plural small holes 8a which are installed at prescribed intervals and capable of transmitting the light, and a distance between the LED array 1A and the photosensitive body 40 is controlled so as to be within a prescribed distance where the mutual intereference of the light transmission through each small hole 8a can be prevented.
