Abstract:
To obtain a wireless chip in which the occurrence of short circuits on face boundary of a p-n junction is prevented.
An LED chip has electrode sections 4A and 6A on its upper and lower surfaces, respectively, and the phase boundary 12A of a p-n junction which becomes the light emitting layer of the chip at a position which is about the half position of the total height of the chip. The chip is placed on lands 2A in a state where the chip lies on its side and the electrodes 4A and 6A are respectively bonded to the lands 2A with conductive paste.
