Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED display device which allows reduction in installation cost and is capable of performing stable display.SOLUTION: An LED display device 1 includes: LED modules each of which has an LED array substrate 31 having a plurality of light emitting diodes 35 arrayed in a desired shape on the side of a front surface 32a of a substrate 32; a display unit 11 having the plurality of LED modules 21 arranged thereon in a matrix; and a control unit 51 including at least a driver 62 for driving the light emitting diodes, a main power source 61 for supplying power supplied from an external power source to the driver 62, a spare power source 63 connected so as to be able to supply power to the driver 62, and a power source control circuit 64. The power source control circuit 64 performs such a control that power supply from the spare power source 63 to the driver 62 is turned on when power consumption in the driver 62 reaches a prescribed amount of electric power.
