The LED illumination device A1 is provided with an installation face 20 for a plurality of LED modules to be installed on one side in a y direction. A first end edge 21 at one side in a z direction of the installation face 20 is so formed to have a center part in an x direction dented toward the other side in a y direction relative to either end, as viewed in the z direction. A second end edge 22 at the other side in the z direction has a center part in an x direction dented to the other side in a y direction relative to either end as viewed in the z direction. The center part of the first end edge 21 in the x direction is displaced toward one side in the y direction relative to the center part of the second end edge 22 in the x direction. By arraying the LED modules in such an installation face 20, a work desk D can be equally illuminated.
