Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an LED lamp that resembles a conventional incandescent lamp in a light emission shape, and can create an antique or nostalgic atmosphere.SOLUTION: An LED lamp includes: a surface-emitting LED 12; a transparent solid columnar lens 14 receiving light emitted from the LED 12 at a bottom surface 14a opposed to the light-emitting surface 12a of the LED 12, and formed of a concave hole 14g for scattering light on a top surface 14h; and power supply means 20 for supplying power to the LED 12. The lens 14 is a circular column, a truncated cone, a polygonal pillar or a truncated pyramid. The concave hole 14g is the circular column, the truncated cone, the polygonal pillar or the truncated pyramid, gradually widened toward the top surface 14h of the lens 14.
