Title:
LEG DROP TEST METHOD AND DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3828508
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leg drop test method capable of reducing sufficiently and economically an impact resulting from contact between a falling body and a lift cylinder.
SOLUTION: Lift cylinders 3, 3 pressurized in the elongation direction by a prescribed pressure and contracted against the pressing force at the falling time of the falling body 1 are used as a lift simulating device for applying an upward force simulating a lift to the falling body 1. In order to mitigate the collision impact of the falling body 1 to the lift cylinders 3, 3, a working fluid is pressurized and enclosed in the contraction direction of the cylinders so as to reduce an initial output of the lift cylinders 3, 3. When the working fluid is pressurized and enclosed in the contraction direction of the cylinders and the initial output of the lift cylinders 3, 3 is reduced, the enclosed fluid is expanded following contraction of the cylinders, and the pressing force in the contraction direction is reduced. Resultantly, the cylinder output is increased continuously from the reduced initial value to a prescribed value following the cylinder contraction.
