Abstract:
PURPOSE: To adjust a leg opening condition of a tripod with a simple operation, by forming an operating knob rotatable and vertically movable with an actuator, and further providing a stopper of stopping rotation of the actuator.
CONSTITUTION: In a center body 1, in its central part an opening is formed, to insert to this opening from above a center shaft 20 of an operating knob 19, and the operating knob 19, with an actuator 27 connected thereto, can be rotated and vertically moved. In the center body 1, a stopper 33, stopping rotating the actuator 27 by touching a turn regulating member 30 of the actuator 27, is provided further to provide in the periphery of the opening a cylindrical unit 34 extended downward, and a notch 35 is formed in a lower end part of this cylindrical unit. A protrusion 36, made engageable with the notch 35 of the cylindrical unit 34, is provided in an upper surface of the actuator 27. Consequently, a turn angle θ1 of a connecting lever 2 is changed by a position of arranging the turn regulating member 30, and a leg opening condition of a tripod can be adjusted.
