Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel capable of reducing an operation torque of a zoom ring without increasing the number of components, and securing strength for preventing deformation of the zoom ring.SOLUTION: The lens barrel includes a stationary barrel in which a zoom ring, a focus ring, and a cam barrel are rotatably retained, and a rectilinear barrel to be engaged with the cam barrel. The focus ring is an electronic ring for driving focus means by an amount of rotation detected by rotation amount detection means. The zoom ring is rotatably disposed outside the stationary barrel, with it fitted to at least two or more different positions in an optical axis direction, and an engagement member provided outside the rectilinear barrel disposed inside the stationary barrel is engaged therewith through a through-hole of the stationary barrel. The zoom operation is made by such a structure that the rectilinear barrel is advanced/retreated in the optical axis direction by rotatingly operating the zoom ring.
