Abstract:
To provide a lens cover assembly that enables suppression of the number of components and reduction in manufacturing cost, and to provide a camera that includes the lens cover assembly.SOLUTION: A lens over assembly 800 has: a lens cover 890 that has light transmissivity; and a holding member 810 that holds the lens cover 890. The holding member 810 further has:a cylindrical wall part 820 into which the lens cover 890 is inserted; an abut part 850 that abuts on a first principal plane 891 on a front side in an insertion direction of the lens cover 890 inserted into the wall part 820; a pawl part 860 that protrudes inward from an inner circumferential plane of the wall part 820, and abuts on a second principal plane 892 on a rear side in the insertion direction of the lens cover 890 inserted into the wall part 820. Further, a separated distance D1 between the abut part 850 and pawl part 860 is smaller than a thickness T of the lens cover 890, and the pawl part 860 abuts on the second principal plane 892 in an elastically deformed state on the rear side in the insertion direction thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
