To provide a lens device which is advantageous in, for example, preventing dust entry during replacement.SOLUTION: A lens device is provided, comprising a fixed cylinder configured to allow a replacement unit to be removably attached thereto, a movable lens barrel configured to be movable relative to the fixed cylinder along an optical axis, and a contact member configured to be in contact with the movable lens barrel so as to close an opening connecting a space on the object side of the movable lens barrel and a space on the image side of the movable lens barrel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
