To provide a lens drive device configured to include an offset in a lens holder, which can rock the lens holder, regardless of the position of the lens holder, is simple in structure, and can be miniaturized.
The lens drive device includes a lens holder 12 holding a lens 11, a driving coil 15 wound on the outer circumferential side of the lens holder 12, a case 14 being a fixed member, a driving magnet 16 held by the case 14 and arranged to face the driving coil 15 with a gap, and a lock member 13 arranged on the side opposite to an object side of the lens holder 12 and coming into contact with the lens holder 12. The lens drive device is configured so that the lock member 13 is suspended and supported to be swingable with respect to the case 14 by spring members for locking 19A and 19B and the lens holder 12 can be moved to the object side with respect to the lock member 13 and is suspended and supported in such a state that the lens holder 12 is energized to the opposite side to the object side by spring members for driving 18A and 18B.
