Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a lens system which produces less aberrations, by making an auxiliary lens system shorter in overall length than a main lens system.

CONSTITUTION: A titled lens system consists of a main lens system and an auxiliary lens system which is added freely insertably and removably to the rear of said system. The focal length of the combined system is made to change shorter than the focal length of the main lens system by the addition of the auxiliary lens system. The lens is so formed that the overall length LA of the auxiliary lens system is LM>LA with respect to the overall length LM of the main lens system.
