Abstract:
To provide a lens system for a stereoscopic camera capable of determining whether a combination of a plurality of lens devices used for stereoscopic imaging is suitable.
A lens system includes: two lens devices; communication means for connecting the two lens devices each other in a communicable manner; storage units for storing reference data to refer to specifications previously set in each of the two lens devices connected by the communication means; calculation units for calculating an overlapping range of the specifications of the two lens devices based on the reference data; and notification means for notifying a user of the overlapping range of the specifications.
