Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationally improve convenience of a letter opener.SOLUTION: A letter opener has a pair of rotary cutters 1 and 1 which perform cutting in cooperation with an object W to be cut which is fed between the cutters, and a guide part 2 which guides the object W to be cut into between the pair of rotary cutters 1 and 1. The pair of rotary cutters 1 and 1 respectively have plural blade bodies 1a with spaces in a rotation axis direction y, and include a part of a slider 3 by which a weft-inserted part 2a of the guide part 2, which contacts an edge part Wa of the object W to be cut in the guide part 2 and regulates a reception dimension of the object W to be cut received into the guide part 2, is moved in the rotation axis direction y of the rotary cutter 1.
