Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a letterpress printing device which can suppress reduction in the printability and characteristic deterioration in the continuous operation by a plate cleaning device which can quickly and easily remove ink on a letterpress plate for each printing, and provide a manufacturing method of printed matter.SOLUTION: A letterpress printing device 30 includes: a letterpress plate 8 which is wound and fixed to a plate cylinder 7; an anilox roll 6; and a plate cleaning device 13 which removes ink on the letterpress plate. The plate cleaning device includes a cleaning roll 12 which is brought into contact with the letterpress plate to remove ink on the letterpress plate, a cleaning liquid supply device 10 which supplies the cleaning liquid to the cleaning roll, and a waste liquid device 9 which suctions and removes a cleaning liquid reservoir 15 that is generated on the downstream side of a point where the cleaning roll and the letterpress plate contact with each other when a spot where the surface of the cleaning roll is separated from the liquid level of the cleaning liquid of the cleaning liquid supply device with the rotation of the cleaning roll is defined as the downstream in the rotation direction, on the opposite side to the cleaning liquid reservoir via the point where the cleaning roll and the letterpress plate contact with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
