Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3475498
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a letterpress suitable for the formation of a fine pattern such as a bar code pattern and a printing method using the same.
CONSTITUTION: At least the surface of the ink receiving part of the protruding part 11 of a plate main body is constituted of a water curable silicone resin. Since the surface of the ink receiving part has compatibility with respect to uncured ink, the inking to the protruding part is possible and, since the surface of the ink receiving part has releasability with respect to cured ink, the cured ink can be transferred to a material to be printed through an appropriate self-adhesive. At this time, since ink is cured, the generation of a marginal zone can be suppressed and an ink film can be thickly set and a pinhole becomes hard to generate and the total amt. of ink after curing is transferred to enable the printing of a fine pattern having a quantitative property in ink film thickness.
