Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level wound coil, a package body thereof, and a pipe feeding method therefrom, causing no bending, deformation, depression, or scratch of a pipe even in if uncoiled with an ETS, and no collapse of cargo nor or discoloration.
SOLUTION: This level wound coil(LWC) 20 is constituted of a plurality of layers of coils by alignment winding as follows: a first-layer coil is formed by alignment winding of copper pipes 1, a second-layer coil is fitted in a recessed part between the copper pipes on the outer surface of the first-layer coil to conduct alignment winding on the first layer coil, a third-layer coil is formed on the second-layer coil in the same way, and a fourth-layer coil is formed on the third-layer coil by alignment winding. Assuming the winding number of the odd-layer coil as n, the winding number of the even-layer coil becomes (n-1), and the winding direction of the odd-layer coil is reverse to that of the even-layer coil.
