Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leveling device of granular raw material for reduced iron, with which pellets as the granular raw material for reduced iron are dispersed and leveled on the whole surface on the furnace hearth in a shifting type hearth furnace without developing cracking and powdering.
SOLUTION: A leveling body 21 composed of a rotary shaft 22 elevated/ lowered with electric-moving cylinders 30 and screw blades 23 arranged at the outer periphery of this rotary shaft 22 and having a left screw blade 23L and a right screw blade 23R with the center corresponding position of the raw material supporting means as the divided point, is disposed at the downstream side of a raw material supplying means for supplying the pellets into the furnace hearth 2a in the shifting type hearth furnace 2. Then, the leveling body 21 is elevated/lowered so as to match to the variations of supplying quantity and average diameter of the pellets, and a prescribed interval is held between the leveling body and the furnace hearth 2a. In this way, the pellets are surely bought into contact with screw blades 23 without acting the excessive collapsing force to the pellets, and dispersed to both and sides in the width direction of the furnace hearth 2a and can be leveled into 1-2 layers.
