Abstract:
To provide a lever type connector in which a hood portion is hardly deformed, and to provide a lever type connector which includes male and female connectors and enables improvement of work efficiency of fitting the male and female connectors together.SOLUTION: There is provided a lever type connector 1 which is attached to an opening 91 provided in a panel 90, the lever type connector 1 comprising: a male connector 10; a female connector 50; and a lever 70. The male connector 10 comprises: a hood portion 30; and cam pins 34 projected to an inside of the hood portion 30. The lever 70 comprises a cam groove 74 which can be engaged with the cam pins 34 in accordance with rotation of the lever. The female connector 50 is fitted with the male connector 10 by a cam operation which is on the basis of an engagement of the cam pins 34 and a cam groove 74. The hood portion 30 comprises abutment portions 35 and 37 that abut on an opening 91 from inside in long side wall portions 31L and 31R being side walls on the side where the cam pins 34 are provided, so that the open deformation of the hood portion 30 is suppressed by abutment on the opening 91 from the inside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
