Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the washing to be added or taken out during operation of laundry equipment by enabling a lid opening and closing the opening of an equipment main body to be opened and closed when operated from the outside, using the lid lock device of the laundry equipment, if the level of water in a rotary drum is not more than a predetermined level.
SOLUTION: A rotary drum storing the washing and having a rotating shaft extended in an approximately horizontal direction has its opening opened and closed by a lid 9, the lid 9 is locked in a closed position by a lock device 28, and the lock device 28 is held locked by the holding device 30. If operation is temporarily stopped by means of a start/pause switch while the level of water in the rotary drum is not more than a predetermined level, the holding device 30 can unlock the lock device 28 after rotation of the rotary drum has been stopped.
